Stainless & Specialty Steel — 304/316, 321, 347, 310S, 2205, 2507, 904L

the full range of austenitic, ferritic, duplex and super-duplex stainless grades in plate, sheet, pipe, tube, bar and fittings — for corrosion duty from food processing to offshore seawater.

Austenitic stainless steels (304/304L, 316/316L, 321, 347, 310S) offer excellent general corrosion resistance and formability; duplex and super-duplex grades (2205, 2507) add high strength and chloride resistance at roughly half the weight; 904L provides superior resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric acids. All are supplied with EN 10204 3.1 certificates and optional 3.2 third-party inspection.

Process & Certification: All stainless material is supplied with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates, with optional 3.2 certificates witnessed by ABS, DNV, BV, LR, SGS or TÜV. Services include PMI, passivation, UT/MT/PT and hydrostatic testing.

Industries: Food & beverage · Pharmaceutical & biotech · Chemical processing · Marine & seawater · Heat exchangers · Architecture & construction.

Q: What is the difference between 304 and 304L?
A: 304L has a lower carbon content (≤0.03%) to prevent carbide precipitation during welding, so it is preferred for welded assemblies that cannot be post-annealed. Mechanical strength is slightly lower.
Q: When should I choose 2205 duplex over 316L?
A: Choose 2205 where chloride stress-corrosion cracking or pitting is a risk (seawater, brackish water, chlorides). It has roughly twice the yield strength, so you can use thinner sections.
Q: Can you supply duplex with ferrite control?
A: Yes — we control ferrite content (typically 35-55% ferrite) and report it on the mill certificate, important for duplex corrosion and welding performance.
Q: Do you provide EN 10204 3.2 certificates?
A: Yes — 3.1 as standard, 3.2 with third-party witnessed inspection on request.
