The marine and seawater alloy — 90/10 and 70/30 CuNi pipe, tube and fittings for cooling, desalination and offshore systems.
Copper-nickel alloys resist seawater corrosion, biofouling and erosion-corrosion better than almost any other engineering metal. 90/10 (C70600) is the workhorse for ship and power-plant cooling water systems; 70/30 (C71500) is used where higher strength or velocity is involved. Both are supplied to ASTM B151/B466/B467 and, for marine pipe, to EEMUA 234. We keep CuNi in stock for fast turnaround.

Process & Certification: CuNi is supplied with EN 10204 3.1 certificates and, for marine systems, to EEMUA 234 with PMI and hydraulic/pneumatic testing as required.

A: 90/10 (C70600) covers most cooling-water duty up to moderate velocity; 70/30 (C71500) is preferred for higher velocity, higher strength, or thicker-wall fittings.
