Flange Solutions
Cover flanges, weld neck flanges and heavy flanges in titanium ASTM SB381, duplex stainless steel ASTM A182 S31803 and carbon steel — forged or fabricated, supplied with EN 10204 3.1 certification and full heat-number traceability.
Forged and fabricated are different products
ASTM A105 and ASTM A266 are frequently listed together, but they are not the same type of flange. A105 is forged; A266 is welded from plate or pipe. They differ in structure, testing route and application, and are supplied as separate product lines.
Where A105 is specified
High-pressure service, sour and cryogenic applications, and any specification that calls for a forged product. Mechanical properties are verified by tensile and impact testing of each heat.
Where A266 is specified
Large-diameter and heavy flanges where a forged blank would be impracticable. Wall thickness, bevel and weld procedure are defined in the product standard.
Check the product form on the enquiry
If a drawing states only the material standard, confirm whether forged or fabricated is intended — the two are supplied from different routes and carry different certificates.
Three material families
Titanium for corrosion resistance, duplex stainless steel for chloride and sour service, carbon steel for pressure and strength requirements.

Oversized titanium cover flange
A large-diameter titanium cover flange stamped to ASME SB381 Gr.2 — O.D. 2218 × I.D. 2030 mm, thickness 178 mm. Fully traceable to the originating heat.
- Commercially pure Grade 2 (Gr.2)
- Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V on request
- Pickled or electropolished finish

Rigged and ready to ship
Extra-large flanges are slung, banded and crated for sea freight, with lifting points arranged so the ring stays within transport limits.
- Lifting and shipping marks applied
- Wooden crating for export
- Dimensional report before dispatch

Titanium flange rings
Full ring sizes with drilled bolt holes and machined sealing faces, for chemical processing, desalination and offshore equipment.
- ASME SB381 / ASTM B265
- PMI verification on request
- Pickled or electropolished finish

Duplex stainless steel weld neck flange
Weld neck flange forged to ASTM A182 UNS S31803, with the raised face coated to prevent galling during handling and storage. Blue anti-bonding coating applied to the gasket contact surface.
- S31803 / UNS S32205 duplex grades
- Anti-bonding face coating
- Pickling and passivation available

Flanges ready for shipment
Duplex flanges in production quantities, nested for transport and protected against surface damage. Each set carries its own certificate and marking record.
- Nesting for efficient shipping
- Surface protection as standard
- Batch marking and bundling

Marked to identify the product
Stamped marking records the flange type, nominal size, pressure class, facing dimension, material specification and dimensional standard.
- WN-RF 24" 150# S=10
- SA-182 S31803
- ASME B16.5 dimensional standard

Heavy cover flanges for vessels & reactors
Large-diameter fabricated cover flanges machined from heavy plate, stacked ready for shipment. Available in low-temperature carbon steel grades for cryogenic service.
- A105 Gr.16 / Gr.17 (LTS)
- A266 Class 1 / 2 fabricated
- Low-temperature steel to −45 °C

Flange blanks & ring stock
Forged and fabricated blanks in production quantities, with machining allowance per your drawing or to standard facing and boring dimensions.
- Hot-formed and cold-formed rings
- Machining allowance supplied
- Batch marking and bundling

Precision-machined flange faces
Flatness and parallelism controlled on CNC facing centres, with Ra roughness specified for gasket seating — raised face, flat face or ring joint as required.
- Raised face (RF) / flat face (FF)
- Ring Type Joint (RTJ)
- EN 1092-1 dimensional standard

Every flange carries its heat number
Traceability is not an extra service — it is the default. Each flange is marked with type, size, class, material specification and heat number, and the certificate links the marking on the part to the original mill documentation.
- 1Heat-linked marking. Type, nominal size, pressure class, facing and heat number stamped on each flange.
- 2EN 10204 3.1 certificates. Chemical analysis, mechanical properties and heat treatment results issued per lot.
- 3Dimensional inspection. Bolt circle, thickness, flatness and facing recorded before crating.
- 4Third-party witness. TUV, BV, Lloyd's or your appointed inspector for critical orders.
Stamped marking detail — type, standard and dimensions remain legible; the heat number is withheld from published imagery.

Mock Up Plate for Tubesheet
The mock-up plate for tubesheet manufacture is produced entirely by the forging process. A selected billet is hot forged and worked to the required thickness, so the plate has a dense, uniform cross-section without the porosity and segregation that can occur in as-cast material.
The forged mock-up plate is supplied with test coupons machined across the full thickness, so tensile, hardness and microstructure results on the certificate represent the actual tubesheet material. It is used for welding procedure qualification and machining trials before production, and is available for your inspection on request together with the corresponding EN 10204 3.1 certificate.
