Alloy Steel — P11, P22, P91, P92, SA387

Creep- and heat-resistant chromium-molybdenum alloy steels for boilers, refineries and power plants — with full heat-treatment and certification.

Chromium-molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steels retain strength and creep resistance at elevated temperatures where carbon steel would soften. P11/P22 are the classic power-and-refinery grades; P91/P92 (9-12% Cr, vanadium-modified) allow much thinner, higher-temperature designs. We supply alloy-steel pipe, tube, plate and fittings with normalizing/quenching-tempering and EN 10204 3.1 certification.

Process & Certification: Supplied with EN 10204 3.1 certificates, heat-treatment records (normalizing, Q&T), and chemical/mechanical tests including impact and hardness; optional 3.2 witnessed inspection.

Industries: Power plants (boilers, superheaters) · Refineries & petrochemical · Hydrogen & syngas units · High-temperature piping · Pressure vessels.

Q: What is the advantage of P91 over P22?
A: P91 has roughly double the allowable stress at high temperature, so piping can be much thinner and lighter — but it requires strict welding procedure and post-weld heat treatment.
Q: Do you provide heat-treatment certification?
A: Yes — we supply heat-treatment charts/records and full mechanical test reports with every order.
Q: Can you supply P91 with impact testing for low ambient?
A: Yes — specify the design minimum metal temperature and we arrange Charpy V-notch testing accordingly.
